Why Use the Hoostr API​

With the Hoostr API, you can automatically send hoopoints to your customers, users, or employees through any platform, such as your website, your mobile application, your intranet, etc.

Getting Started​

Create an Organization​

To use the Hoostr API, you need to create an organization if it hasn't been done already. It's quite simple.

  1. Go to app.hoostr.co.
  2. Create an account or log in to an existing one.
  3. Go to the business area: app.hoostr.co/business.
  4. Fill out the form with the name and category of your organization.
  5. Confirm the form.

Your API Keys​

You can find your API keys in the Settings > Developer panel, which is available here.

Be cautious, API keys are confidential and must be kept secret! Do not use them directly from the browser. Only use them in a back-end environment. If your API keys are compromised, you can refresh them.

You have two API keys: a production key and a development key. Your development API keys send fictive hoopoints and should only be used in a local environment for testing purposes.

You can differentiate them by their prefixes: sk_ (secret key) for the production key and devsk (secret development key).
